INEOS Styrolution’s Novodur® P2H-AT selected by Vorwerk for its new Temial tea maker

INEOS Styrolution, the global leader in styrenics, has been selected by Vorwerk as the thermoplastic supplier for its newly launched Temial tea maker, which was introduced in Germany and China in August 2018. Founded in Wuppertal, Germany, in 1883, Vorwerk’s core business encompasses both the production and sale of high quality household products (Thermomix kitchen appliance, Kobold vacuum cleaner, Twercs tools, Temial Tea maker, Lux Asia Pacific products) and cosmetics (JAFRA Cosmetics).

INEOS Styrolution’s Novodur P2H-AT had been selected for the housing of the Temial tea maker due to its excellent surface gloss and high quality appearance, as well as its processability and good color consistency. This material also contains an antistatic additive, reducing or eliminating the building up of static electricity and collection of dust. Novodur P2H-AT is also currently used for Vorwerk’s Thermomix kitchen appliance and Kobold vacuum cleaner.

Novodur is INEOS Styrolution’s brand of specialty acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) copolymers. This product line contains grades with a well-balanced mix of properties for injection molding, including good impact strength, dimensional stability and heat resistance. It is easy to process and gives a high aesthetic colorful surface appearance, thus making it an ideal polymer for a wide range of applications across various industries, including Automotive, Electronics, Household, Construction, Healthcare, Packaging and Toys/ Sports/ Leisure.
